This is my first Blog! I am really enjoying the summer warmth and fun summer activities outdoors. In particular, I've been savoring fresh vegetables and fruit from an organic garden that my boyfriend has tended. Wow - what a gift to be able to forage for food right in your backyard! A treat I look forward to every day. Fresh kale, snow peas, basil, blackberries, plums and apples, and so much more. I'm a big advocate and proponent for eating organic food and supporting organic farmers. But this is even more fulfilling when you can cultivate it yourself. If you don't have the time to grow your own garden, perhaps consider planting herb seeds in a pot of fresh soil and grow some fresh herbs. Most importantly, nourish your body with as much healthy, natural, organic food as possible. Shop at grocery stores or farmer's markets where they sell this kind of food. Your body will be so grateful and will function at it's optimal!
